Andromeda Graziano and Raúl Jiménez

Director, Choreographer, Storyline

Her dance film 'Leap of Faith' created in collaboration with filmmaker Jack Elliott Hobbs has earned awards, nominations, and selections at film festivals worldwide.
A movement research artist and choreographer, her foundations are in classical ballet with training from aged 7 at the Royal Ballet School Junior Associates, Merle Park Studios, and Stella Mann. Earning a BA (Hons) Degree in Dance & Drama from Middlesex University she further honed her craft at London Contemporary Dance School with a One Year Special Certificate in Contemporary Dance and Choreography. Recognized for her artistic vision, she was awarded a grant from the Prince’s Trust and Pépinières Européennes pour Jeunes Artistes, leading to the creation of a full-length work for the Ballet de Zaragoza in Spain.

Robert Schumann

With sublime ease and virtuosity, Raul portrays the role of Robert Schumann, bringing intrinsic knowledge and artistry to the character.
Born in Tarragona, Spain, he began his musical journey at a very young age, studying with Christiane Lerouth before refining his craft under the Cuban maestro Cecilio Tieles at top conservatoires in Vila-seca and Barcelona. He earned his degree with high honours and a special prize, and in 1995, moved to London to train with Sulamita Aronovsky, obtaining a diploma from the Royal College of Music with honours and earning the prestigious ARCM piano performance title.

Madeline brings Clara Wieck to life with grace and depth. A graduate of Trinity Laban in 2024, she completed a three month contract honing her talents with Vivo in Rome, and delivers a vivid and emotionally resonant interpretation.

Eusebius the mild

Portraying the mild and introspective facet of Robert Schumann's dual nature, Sheldon is in his final year at Trinity Laban. He is already making his mark in the contemporary dance world with his sensitivity and dedication to his craft.

Florestan the wild

Embodying the wild and passionate side of Robert Schumann's personality, Matthew is a recent graduate from Rambert School. Bringing his dynamic artistry to this powerful piece, he is in the 25/26 cast of The Red Shoes with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures.

Poem narrator

Noted as having 'a rich voice that appears to come from the centre of the earth' Julian stands as one of the most critically acclaimed basses in the UK. He has performed at several esteemed opera houses and venues throughout his career including The Metropolitan Opera, The Royal Opera House at Covent Garden, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, The Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Centre, The Bridgewater Hall, Opera North UK, Scottish Opera and the Wexford, Buxton, Longborough, and English Bach Festivals in a wide range of roles. He has also made numerous television and radio broadcasts for the BBC.

Director of Photography

A cinematographer and writer based in London from Austin, Texas, she began her career as an executive assistant to cinematographer Jim Flores. Her early visual work was showcased at the AISD Performing Arts Center, the Bob Bullock Museum, and the Texas State Capitol Exhibition 2022. Attending Sotheby's Institute of Art Gap Year Program she is now in her final year at the University of the Arts London, specializing in cinematography.

Editor and Assistant Director

A filmmaker with a passion for editing he is an Adobe Certified Professional in Video Design, Digital Video and Visual Effects. Based in London, he is in his final year studying Film and Television at the University of the Arts London. He was assistant cameraman on the award winning dance film 'Leap of Faith' by Andromeda Graziano.

Technical Director

Martin is the Founder and Technical Manager of i-OB. With over 30 years experience in the industry he has been a sound recordist, a cameraman, run a busy hire department and was employed by one of the best known OB companies for almost 15 years as an OB Unit Manager. His credits include the BAFTAs, BRIT Awards, Glastonbury and the BST Hyde Park Concerts.

A composer and sound programmer with eclectic training, he developed his career as a classical violinist at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona and graduated in music production and electronics from Berklee College of Music (Boston). His training in both worlds is a declaration of intent in the pursuit of excellence in this fusion and has spent his career accumulating experience and knowledge in his studio, lahuella.audio, for all types of shows, advertising, and TV including musical compositions and collaborations with La Fura dels Baus, Barcelona’s DC Ballet Company, Ray Kurzweil (futurist and engineering director at Google), advertising productions and sound installations for agencies, global brands, and the healthcare sector.

Photographer

As a freelance photographer her creative perspective is geared towards producing emotive work which engages and stimulates the viewer and more importantly generates resonance, recognition and reflection-enabling the viewer to go beyond visuals, into empathy, understanding, connection, and action in their individual and social lives.
Her process not only informs the visual outcome of any project, but forms a cohesive ‘felt’ narrative strand, meeting a project’s emotional and visual objectives and deriving meaning through creation, as well as through the final ‘product’.
